How do Seats work in Ship Angel?

What are Seats?

A "seat" refers to a user license that grants access to the platform's features and functionalities. Each member of your team who needs access to Ship Angel will occupy one seat. This structure ensures that every team member has an individual account and can interact with the platform independently, optimizing collaboration and security.

 

How Seats Work:

  1. User Roles and Permissions: Ship Angel offers different user roles with varying levels of access and permissions. These roles include Owner, Admin or Member. Owners have complete control over the organization's account including billing and subscription, Admins also have a high level of control and the ability to add or remove members, Members have access to the workspace but cannot make changes to settings or other account permissions. The number of seats you have determines how many individuals can hold each role.
  2. Pricing Flexibility: Our pricing is based on the number of seats your organization requires. You only pay for the number of seats you need, making it easy to scale up or down as your team evolves. This flexibility ensures that you're not overpaying for unused licenses.
  3. Adding Seats: When you need to add more team members to your Ship Angel account, you can very easily change your pricing tier in line with your requirements. These new users will receive unique login credentials and gain access to the platform according to their assigned roles.
  4. Seat Management: Those with Owner or Admin access have the ability to manage seats. You can add new users, remove users who no longer require access, and reassign roles as needed. This empowers you to adapt your team's access based on changing requirements.
