Ship angel's Amendment Guard feature enables your team to thoroughly review rate sheets and effortlessly compare them to previous versions to evaluate any alterations before finalizing them. This innovative feature provides your team with full visibility over any extra fees or charges.
How does this work?
When setting up this feature, make sure to set the Rates Approval setting to Yes in the settings tab. This ensures that all rate sheets are thoroughly reviewed before being finalized. The Company Admin will have the opportunity to review and confirm the rates before making them visible to all team members. If the setting is set to 'No', the sheets will be immediately visible without any reviewing process.
Once the rate sheets are received, whether from the carrier or internally, they will automatically be placed in the 'Under Review' section of the Documents tab. Here, you can easily access and download the analyzed rate sheet. Utilize filters to organize the sheet by Vendor, Origin, Destination, Shipper, or by % or $ change. You can also easily switch between currencies. With these features promoting transparency and clarity, your team can efficiently compare new rates to previous versions and identify any changes before finalizing them.
